As I am sure everyone has heard about the husband killing his wife, Judy, himself, and shooting his son on Friday in Macon. Judy was an employee at Tender Years. She was the best human being one could ever meet. If there was a good person in this world, she was it. The kids loved her and she adored each and every one of them. She has been working at Tender Years for nearly 7 years. Any child that has come through Tender Years during that time has gotten to know Judy very well. She as a great friend and she never had any thing negative to say without something positive to back it up. Judy kept Tender Years going while Mrs. Betty was sick and in the hospital and while I was out of bed rest and maternity leave. I have no idea what I would have done without her and I am at a loss at what we are going to do without her now. Tender Years has suffered a horrendous loss. Please continue to keep her son, Henry, in your prayers. He is still in Columbus hospital and I have no idea how substantial his wounds are but I know his heart has got to be aching. He will have to live with what he saw for the rest of his life. Also please keep all the families in your prayers as well as her Tender Years family. This week will be hard on all the workers and even the poor children that will know JU JU is gone forever.
We Will Miss Her Greatly.
