Well its been quiet a while since I posted anything to my blog so I am doing a little catch up. Of course I am not going very far back but I am posting recent events. Braedon is now 20 months well almost and its hard to believe he will be two before long. He is a loving sweet child most of the time but he can be bad and mean as the devil when he wants to be. He can repeat anything you ask to as long as you have his attention. He is wild and wide open 100% of the time. If he is sititng around or not moving, that means something is wrong with him. This is my cue to go to the dr. Our last dr visit was on account of fever that shot up... I immediately assumed ear infection because that is all that I thought it could be due to no other symthoms... BOY was I wrong. Dr Watson couldn't find anything wrong until he looked at ant bites on Braedon's feet. One had gotten infected and it had to be lanced. I was thinking oh my word how am I going to handle this one!!! Well all went great. Braedon watched Dr. Watson's every move and never did flinch!!! I on the other hand would have been screaming. Well he drained it all and since it was still oozing he had to bandage it. Well boy the fit start then. Braedon started kicking and SCREAMING like we were strangling him just because of a band aid... He hates band-aids but this was his first fit about one to this extreme!!!! Anyhow we had to be put on strong meds for 10 days but we are fine now. Except still no band-aids.
John was not here for Easter. We went to church and then to Mawmaw's for lunch then to Grandma's for supper. It was all fantastic but it was not for a dieter's diet. I am sure most have heard or seen it on facebook that I decided to go to Weight Watchers with Carrie Franks back in January. I have done it before and did great... then I got pregnant. But anyhow we have both done fantastic... Although I could be doing better. The first 30 fell off and now it is just harder but it is harder because I have not done EXACTLY what I should be doing. Life keeps getting in the way and of course the week John is home it is not easy but I am back on track now....I have lost almost 35 pounds and I am shooting for about 10 more!! We will see if I make it.
John was home Mother's Day and it was fantastic. We spent the Tuesday night before Mother's Day at Pat's house because both boys were home from work. Then Sunday we went to Pepper's and met mama and Grandma for lunch. It was great too.... Even better than normal because no one had to cook and no one had to clean up. I am posting pics of the family at Easter and then the entire family on Mother's Day!!!
